Job Summary:
The System Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and reliability of the IT infrastructure across the Foundation's divisions. This role involves maintenance of hardware, software, and networking systems, managing user support, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with external vendors when necessary.
Good knowledge and hands-on experience in networking setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting will be considered highly suitable for this role.
Key Job Responsibilities:
** Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of computer systems, servers, printers, and other IT equipment.
** Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve technical issues.
** Manage user access, passwords, and data backups.
** Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking problems and provide prompt technical support to staff.
** Set up and maintain networking systems including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi routers, switches, and firewalls.
** Coordinate with external IT service providers for repairs, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and procurement.
** Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets and related documentation.
** Ensure cyber security protocols are followed, including antivirus, firewalls, and data protection.
** Assist in the setup of audio-visual systems for training and meetings.
** Support implementation of IT policies and compliance with data protection regulations.
** Provide basic IT training and guidance to staff where necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
** Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
** Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT support or system maintenance.
** Strong knowledge and experience in networking environments, including configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
** Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
** Working knowledge of backup systems, antivirus software, printers, scanners, and CCTV maintenance.
** Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
** Fluency in English and Telugu preferred.
